Dr. Ashley Doerr is a native to the thumb of Michigan. She grew up in a small town, with her parents, and her older brother, Tony. Dr. Ashley was an active child, as a child she participated in dance classes, but also played basketball, volleyball, softball and ran track. She comes from a big bowling family, her parents were the coaches of the bantam bowling league, and her father had over 40 (300) games, and her brother has had 20 so far. However, Dr. Ashley's passion was basketball and she played AAU baskeball until heart surgeries sidelined her basketball career.

After high school, she went to Oakland University, in Rochester, MI where she studied premedicine in hopes of becoming a pediatric cardiologist. However, after taking numerous pharmacology and toxicology courses, she realized that prescribing medicine was not for her and she began to realize she fit in more with the chiropractic and holistic method of thinking. She later completed her bachelor's degree in Liberal Arts-Health studies, with a concentration in Nutrition and Biology. She then moved to Atlanta, Georgia where she received her Doctor of Chiropractic degree at Life University.

While in chiropractic school, Dr. Ashley continued to pursue her passion for children, and completed an additional certification program to specialize in pediatrics, pregnancy, and family care. Dr. Ashely also has two published research articles in medical journals, one on Webster Techniques and another on the Resolution of Otitis Media using Chiropractic care on a two-year old.

After graduation, Dr. Ashley moved to Lansing, where she worked at a chiropractic office that specialized in structural restoration of the spine. Throughout her life, Dr. Ashley has always dealth with neck pain, low back pain, and weekly headaches. Shortly after starting at the new office, she had x-rays taken where she learned her neck was straight, and was lacking the normal cervical curve. She immediately started a traction program to restore the cervical curve. Quickly after that, her headaches began to diminish, and she began to have less neck pain and tension in her shoulders. Pleased with the results, she received with her own structural care, she traveled to Boise, Idaho, where she completed a certification in Chiropractic Biophysics. Structural care has quickly become one of her passions, as she knows how it feels to suffer with daily headaches, and hopes she can help others to relieve this burden.

While not practicing chiropractic, Dr. Ashley enjoys spending time with her family, and her siberian husky, Archer. She has always been an avid reader, and has dreams of starting her own book blog, while she is still in process of creating her dream blog, she did created a book club in September 2016 with friends and family from back home. In January 2016, she set a goal that she would like to read 100 books in 2016 and she read 104!
